Ho conosciuto Elisa di Mani in Pasta Lisboa grazie a Laura Ladylike Knit Design in occasione di Design in Corso, evento di architettura e design che si tiene ogni anno a Brescia.
E mi sono innamorata delle borse stampate (ne ho una con la stampa “COFFEE IS BROWN”).
I think it is the first time I introduce an online shop whom owner I have personally met.
I have met Elisa from Mani in Pasta Lisboa thanks to Laura Ladylike Knit Design during Design in Corso, an event about architecture and design that is held every year in Brescia.
And I fell in love with the printed bags ( I have the one with “COFFEE IS BROWN” on it).
Quello che mi piace di più di Mani in Pasta è l’ironia nella scelta delle stampe e il fatto che tutto abbia a che fare con il cibo.
Non per niente il loro mantra dice “Portiamo in spazi sempre diversi le antiche ricette della nonna, reinterpretate in chiave contemporanea attraverso workshop, performance, aperitivi, design”.
What I love the most of Mani in Pasta is the use of irony and the fact that all the prints have something to do with food.
Their mantra says “We bring in different spaces the old grandma recipes , reinterpreted in a contemporary key through workshops, performances, happy hours, and design”.
Elisa Sartor e Valentina Toscano hanno fondato Mani in Pasta nel 2015 e da quel momento non hanno mai smesso di crescere, tanto da finire perfino su Elle Decor con il loro TELO D’AMARE.
Che è poi il motivo per cui vi parlo di loro oggi, poco prima dell’inizio di agosto.
Elisa Sartor and Valentina Toscano founded Mani in Pasta in 2015 and since that moment they have never stopped growing, this year they were even on Elle Decor with their TELO D’AMARE.
And this item is the reason why I am talking about Mani in Pasta, at the very beginning of August.
Questo è decisamente uno dei più bei teli mare che io abbia mai visto.
Ed oltre a quello producono borse, grembuli, zainetti, e ovviamente non possono mancare le magliette (qui sotto più che degnamente indossate da Laura!)
This is definitely one of the most beautiful beach towels I have ever seen.
And besides that they produce handbags, kitchen cloths, backpacks, and of course you cannot miss their shirts (styled by Laura in the pic below!)
