Peter Dundas torna in passerella e questa volta con una collezione che porta solo il suo nome.
Dopo il successo ottenuto alla guida due marchi simbolo della moda italiana, come Emilio Pucci e Roberto Cavalli, il designer Norvegese ha deciso di concentrarsi sulla sua estetica lanciando così suo marchio omonimo, insieme al partner Evangelo Bousis.
Presentata a Parigi in una sfarzosa casa privata (anche io vorrei amici così), durante la prestigiosa settimana della moda dedicata alla haute couture (mossa davvero furba), la prima collezione targata Peter Dundas è riuscita a brillare per originalità. Ecco il commento dello stilista in merito alla collezione:
Peter Dundas is back on the runway and this time with a collection that only holds his name.
After the success gained leading two major Italian fashion brands like Emilio Pucci and Roberto Cavalli, the Norwegian designer has decided to focus on his own aesthetics by launching his eponymous collection with partner Evangelo Bousis.
Presented in Paris a couple of days ago at a friends’ house (I mean I want this kind of friends too) during the prestigious couture week, this first collection managed to catch the eye of the audience. Here’s what Peter Dundas has said about the collection:
“Questa collezione è una dichiarazione d’intento. Stabilisce la mia nuova identità. Questa collezione parla di libertà e di ciò che amo – colore, taglio, ricamo e struttura. […] Ciascun capo è presentato come una singola creazione– un capo che viene da un vero armadio, il guardaroba di una vera ragazza Dundas /
The collection is a statement of intent. It’s establishing my identity, a new. This collection is about freedom, reconnecting with what I love – color, cut, embroidery, texture. […] Each outfit is presented as an individual creation – a piece form a real wardrobe, the closet of a true Dundas girl.”
