Bentornati nella shopping avenue di Sugareal! Devo dire che ci sto prendendo gusto a gestire la rubrica “Best online shop” , mi fa sentire come Isla Fisher nel film “I Love Shopping”. Peccato che il mio portafogli non trasmetta lo stesso entusiasmo. C’est La Vie. Qualche giorno fa Stella mi ha parlato di Garmentory.com, non il solito negozio online ma un vero portale creativo.

I must admit I am really enjoying the management of this section: I feel like I am Isla Fisher in the movie “I Love Shopping”, with an unenthusiastic wallet though – c’est la vie. Just a few days ago, Stella told me about Garmentory.com, which is not the usual online shop, but it is a proper creative portal.

Nato nel 2014 da un’idea di Adele Tetangco, Garmentory è un e-commerce innovativo che non segue la logica impersonale dei trend del momento, ma si basa sull’unicità dei diversi punti di vista offerti dai suoi interlocutori: il portale racchiude infatti circa 3000 designers emergenti e più di 400 boutique indipendenti. Ma c’è di più: il portale presenta infatti un’interessante sezione chiamata “Make an Offer”, dove i clienti possono acquistare l’oggetto dei propri desideri facendo un offerta diretta al venditore/designer, che può accettare o rilanciare.
Born in 2014 from Adele Tetangco’s idea, Garmentory is an innovative e-commerce, which does not follow the impersonal logic of momentary trends, but rather it is based on the uniqueness of its fashion curators and creators’ various points of view: the platform includes about 3000 emerging designers and more than 400 indie boutiques. And this is not all: the website features an original section called “Make an offer”, where customers can buy their desired product making a direct offer to the seller / designer, who can accept or bid it up in turn.
Capite che con questi presupposti non mi basta una vita per vedere tutto. E in caso ve lo ste chiedendo, sì, è tutto bellissimo: se cercate qualcosa di unico, Garmentory fa per voi!
Con il minimo sforzo sono riuscita a trovare in un colpo solo sia la borsa a tracolla, che cercavo da una vita, che il giubbino di pelle dei miei sogni (per sostituire quello che ho miseramente perso).
Ma Garmentory non è solo moda da indossare: nella sezione “Lifestyle” troverete infatti un’interessante selezione di oggetti di arredamento e casalinghi, molto creativi e dal sapore hipster se vogliamo, che torna sempre utile in caso di regali last minute.

With these characteristics, you can understand how a life is not enough to know everything. And if you are wondering: yes, every single product is awesome, if you are looking for something unique. I have easily found the purse I have been searching for ages, and the leather jacket of my dreams, since I miserably lost mine. But Garmentory is not only fashion to wear: in the “Lifestyle” section you can find an interesting selection of interior design and household products, which are artistic and a bit hipster – if we can say it – and they can be a useful resource for last minute presents.
