Sai come si dice: ultimo ma non meno importante… stavolta no! Stavolta è ultimo PERCHÉ meno importante: usa il cosmetico giusto al momento giusto.
Il ruolo dei cosmetici è decisamente sopravvalutato. In vita mia ho sentito dire decine di volte: “Ma che bei capelli… che shampoo usi?”. Mai nessuno che dica: “Ma che bei capelli… che cosa mangi?”.
In realtà è questa la domanda più sensata: avere lo stile di vita giusto è molto ma molto più importante che usare il cosmetico giusto. È anche un po’ più difficile, ovvio…
7. Use the right cosmetic at the right moment.

The role of cosmetics is absolutely overrated. In my life I heard over and over again: “You have got wonderful hair… what shampoo do you use?”. Nobody says: “You have wonderful hair… what do you eat?”.
Actually the second is the most appropriate question: following the right lifestyle is far more important than using the right cosmetic. It’s also a bit harder, obviously…
I cosmetici non fanno nulla? Sbagliato anche questo. Se sapete sceglierli e usarli, i cosmetici fanno la differenza. Anzi, possono fare addirittura qualche piccolo miracolo. Ma, a voler essere onesti, con i cosmetici possono anche fare disastri.
Luca, ma quanto sei pesante… ogni volta pare che sto per lasciarci le penne! Per un po’ di crema? Eh dai su!
Giusto qualche esempio: sono cose banali, ma forse non ci hai mai riflettuto. Se hai la pelle grassa, lavarla spesso non fa altro che renderla ancora più grassa. Se hai la pelle dei gomiti un po’ dura, uno scrub in più la rende ancora più cuoiosa. Il balsamo – che dovrebbe regalarti una chioma fluente e luminosa – se usato in eccesso rende i capelli pesanti e spenti.

If your elbow skin is a bit hard, one more scrub will make it even more leathery. Hair conditioner – which should give you flowing and glowing hair – if it is used in excess, it makes hair heavy and dull.
