Come ci aspettavamo, i trend sono stati shorts cortissimi, crop tops, frange, stampe, capelli tinti etc… Le modelle si sono anche divertite ad indossare gioielli per il viso.
As we expected, the trends were tiny cutoffs, crop tops, fringes, prints, dyed hair, etc… Models had fun with face jewelry.

Best Dressed
Kate Bosworth: L’attrice era impeccabile ed ha prestato molta attenzione ai dettagli. La giacca ricamata di Etro è spettacolare e si addice perfettamente allo spirito libero del festival.

Beyoncé: La cantante era stupenda, come al solito, nell’abito ‘Bohéme’ di Saint Laurent a stampa floreale, abbinato ad un gilet con frange.

Gigi Hadid: Anche la giovane modella ha indossato un gilet con frange nel primo giorno del festival. Sotto il gilet, un crop top fatto all’uncinetto di Alice + Olivia, che avevo suggerito nell’articolo su cosa indossare per un festival. Ma l’outfit di Gigi Hadid che ho preferito, è stato l’abito bianco svolazzante, con profondi spacchi ai lati, abbinato ad un copricapo con motivo cachemire e gioielli sui piedi nudi.

Shanina Shaik: Per il terzo giorno di Coachella, la modella australiana ha indossato una gonna asimmetrica, un crop top con il logo dei Guns N Roses, una sottilissima collana per il corpo e gli occhiali a forma di cuore di Wildfox.

Alessandra Ambrosio: L’angelo di Victoria’s Secret sembra sempre divertirsi molto al festival di Coachella, in compagnia delle sue amiche modelle brasiliane (tra cui Ana Beatriz Barros). Ogni anno sfoggia vari look, sempre perfetti per l’occasione, e anche quest’anno non ha deluso le aspettative.
Alessandra Ambrosio: Every year the Victoria’s Secret Angel seems to be the one to have the most fun at Coachella. She is always dancing, chatting and taking pictures with her brazilian model girlfriends. It’s easy to see that she also has a lot of fun by dressing up for the festival. And as a result, her oufits are always on point.

Kendall Jenner: La sorella di Kim Kardashian si è riscattata nel secondo giorno del Coachella (vedi “worst dressed” sotto). Queste collane color oro, abbinate ad un look più femminile, le stanno molto meglio dei gioielli del giorno precedente. Il crop top e la gonna a spacchi sono molto carini insieme e anche gli stivaletti e la borsa a tracolla, che aveva già indossato il primo giorno, funzionano meglio in questo outfit.
Kendall Jenner: Kim Kardashian’s sister redeemed herself on the second day of Coachella (see the “worst dressed” below). The gold dainty chains, matched with a more femine style, looked way better than the previous day jewelry. The off-shoulders crop top and the long split skirt were really pretty together. Also the boots and the cross body bag, which she had already woren the previous day, worked a lot better with this clothing.

Jourdan Dunn: La modella inglese si è tinta i capelli di violetto in occasione del festival, e questa scelta si è rivelata utile per aggiungere un po’ di colore ai tre outfit total black che ha indossato. Devo dire che la preferisco con look più sportivi, ma anche questi outfit non sono per niente male.
Jourdan Dunn: The British model dyed her hair violet for the occasion. This choice was good to add some color to the three total black outfits that she wore. I have to say that I prefer her in more sporty clothing, but her Coachella’s looks weren’t bad at all.

Kylie Jenner: La più giovane delle sorelle Kardashian-Jenner ha creato uno dei look migliori di Coachella, nell’unico giorno in cui ha partecipato al festival. Si capisce facilmente che il look non è stato improvvisato, perchè tutto era abbinato alla perfezione. Kylie ha indossato un set di due pezzi coordinati (crop top e shorts a vita alta), un gilet lungo fino a terra, un paio di scarponcini Timberland ed un cappellino. Tutto della stessa tonalità. Come accessori ha scelto delle collanine e dei braccialetti molto sottili, uniti un collana più spessa e a nove (!!) braccialetti ‘LOVE’ di Cartier. Ha poi aggiunto del colore al look grazie ai lunghi capelli azzurri e alle unghie dello stesso colore.
Kylie Jenner: The youngest of the Kendall sisters looked amazing on the only day she joined the festival. You can tell that this look wasn’t off the cuff, because everything matched perfectly. Kylie wore a co-ordinated two pieces set (made of a crop top and high waisted shorts), a full length sleeveless duster, a pair of Timberland boots and a cap. Everything was in the same shade. She mixed very delicate necklaces and rings with a thick gold collar and nine (!!) Cartier ‘LOVE’ bracelets. Then she added color by dying her hair of a beautiful light blue and painting her nails in the same shade.

Rihanna: Non è mai facile commentare i look della cantante delle Barbados, ma di sicuro siamo tutti d’accordo nel dire che Rihanna non ha paura di osare. Mentre mi piace l’outfit con la pelliccia viola, e non so nemmeno spiegare il motivo, salvo solamente il top (spettacolare) dell’altro look.. Rihanna ha abbinato la pelliccia ad un rossetto di colore viola accesso, della linea di cosmetici Free Spirit Cosmetics, che appartiene ad una sua amica. Inutile dire che le stava benissimo.
Rihanna: It’s never easy to comment on the Barbadian singer‘s looks, but for sure we can all agree that she isn’t afraid to dare. While I like the purple fur outfit, and I can’t even explain why, I would only save the amazing top from the other look. Also, she wore a vibrant purple lipstik, from Free Spirit Cosmetics, her friend’s make-up brand, and she looked beautiful as usual.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: Mi dispiace mettere Rosie tra le peggio vestite, ma mi aspetto sempre molto da lei e questa volta mi ha delusa. Non dico che stia male, ma il suo outfit per il primo giorno di Coachella, non ha niente a che fare con il festival, a cominciare dalla collana di perle. Spesso indossa capi e accessori boho-chic (gonne e vestiti maxi e svolazzanti; pantaloni a stampe; gilet in suede o pelliccia etc.), quindi perchè non ha seguito questo stile?
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley: I am sorry to put Rosie among the worst dressed, but I always expect great looks from her and this time she let me down. I’m not saying she looked bad, but her day one outfit had nothing to do with the festival, starting from the pearl necklace. She sometimes wears elements of the boho-chic style (like floating maxi dresses and skirts; printed trousers; fur, sharling or suede clothing and accessories etc.), so why didn’t she enhance on this? Instead, her outfit was plain and not interesting at all. It looked like she didn’t put any effort in it.

Behati Prinsloo: Mi aspettavo di più anche da Behati. Il suo stile personale è già uno stile adatto ad un festival (adoro questo look), ma per Coachella ha fatto un passo indietro. E quel top è davvero brutto.

Cminciamo dalla lunghezza strana dei pantaloncini: un paio di boyfriend jeans lunghi o uno di shorts corti, sarebbe stato molto meglio di quegli shorts che non le donano per nulla. La collana e il braccialetto sembrano cheap (anche se sono sicura che non lo siano); il gilet corto ha uno stile troppo minimalista rispetto al resto. Niente si abbina a niente in questo look.
